In 1825, Simón Bolívar, who liberated Peru from the Spanish, removed the Inca sun from the center of the flag and placed the Peruvian coat of arms (which includes an image of a vicuña, a quinine tree, and a cornucopia) surrounded by a laurel wreath. Currently, Peru uses three versions of the flag.
The first one has vertical stripes without the coat of arms, widely used everywhere. The second version has the coat of arms in the center and is used on all government buildings and by the police. The third version, where a shield is placed in the center instead of the coat of arms, is used by the military. What is the color of the Peruvian passport?
