Watermelon
Oh, how I love to eat watermelon,
Its yummy taste is just so welcomin’!
Green and striped, a heavy ball,
From the melon patch, it’s grown so tall.
You cut it open — oh, what red!
A truly lovely sight ahead!
So sweet — it’s just divine!
No tastier treat you’ll ever find!
It grew down south where sunbeams play,
Could never sprout on a frosty day.
It’s full of goodness, you can tell,
A juicy treasure, casts a spell!
I’ll love watermelon all my days,
It chases all the blues away!
Love watermelon, children dear,
All through our land, both far and near!
Exercise Time
Exercise, little ones, do it each day,
Then with good health, you’ll laugh and play!
Learn your movements, do them right,
And sports will be a pure delight!
With cool fresh water, try to splash,
It makes you quick, not slow and slackish!
Then you’ll be cheerful, full of cheer,
And heavy days won’t come near!
Mister Bear
I’m Mister Bear, a furry giant friend,
I love sweet honey, berries without end!
And I’ve one rule, quite great and grand —
I do not like to bend, you understand!
Of buzzing bees, I must admit,
I feel a tiny bit unfit!
But without them, no honey flows,
So to the hive my brave nose goes!
And when I get that golden treat,
I eat and eat and eat and EAT!
No matter if it’s cold or hot,
I gobble up the lovely lot!
