Подробнее

In a dense old forest lived a bear. One day, while walking, he drank cold water from a mossy well and went down the path to an old oak tree with thick, cracked bark. There he had a den.

«It seems to me that there is less water in the well. The ants are probably dragging my water away,» the bear muttered under his breath and looked around angrily.

He bowed his head down and saw an ant running along the path with a box on his shoulders.

— Stop, ant! — the bear roared. — I won’t let you near my well anymore! You’ve already dragged a lot of water! Stop, I’ll crush you with my paw!

But it never occurred to the little black ant to listen to the bear. He quickly crawled under the dry leaves and ran to the well again.

And the bear rakes the leaves with his paws and nose and roars: — In vain are you hiding, I will find you anyway! And the ant shouts to him from the other side: — Why don’t you want to give us water?!

The little ants in the anthill are thirsty. There is enough water in the well even for a deer! — I already told you, — the bear growls, — that I will not give you water!
