ANNOTATION AND PREFACE

How to Regain Control of Your Biology in an Age of Digital Chaos

We are the first generation to live in a state of total biological rupture between body and brain. Our brains process terabytes of information while our bodies sit motionless in front of screens for days on end. The price of this imbalance is chronic fatigue, anxiety, and a loss of control over our own weight, sleep, and focus. Why, in an age of maximum everyday comfort, do we feel so utterly depleted? This book reveals the secret of the "digital trap" that has ensnared our nervous system. Our brain, deceived by the bright light of screens and an endless stream of information, lives in survival mode even when the body is lying on the couch.

This book presents the Digital Somatic Method — a scientifically grounded algorithm for shifting states by working with biological rhythms. It is a hands-on manual for managing your nervous system and precisely tuning your state through the body and sensation. You will receive a step-by-step guide on how to seize control from stress and teach your organism to consciously switch from survival mode to living mode. The method is rooted in deep nervous system regulation and working with psychosomatics on a physiological level. You will learn how Dual-Channel Frequency Entrainment, work with the vagus nerve, and targeted neuroacoustic protocols can help recode your state. Functional neuro-music and practices aimed at bodily awareness will help you:

— Seize control from stress and anxiety.

— Wake up without coffee.

— Fall asleep without melatonin.

— Pull your body out of the exhausting “fight or flight” mode.

— Restore cortisol balance and clear the “brain fog.”

— Reclaim your fundamental right to health, deep sleep, and inner silence.

— Support natural weight regulation by taking your body off the stress-induced resource-hoarding mode.

— Significantly improve your brain’s ability to concentrate, opening access to states of productive focus.

— Activate a “quick booster” for deep reset

— use an audio protocol for rapid resource restoration, comparable to a short afternoon nap but without the grogginess.

This book will teach you to manage your state and switch your nervous system’s settings as easily as you change TV channels or scroll through social media feeds. Tune your biology to the right wavelength and finally start living, not just surviving.

ABOUT THE METHOD

I began my practice as a classically trained physician: I used instrument-based methods, manual techniques, and therapeutic movements. People came to me with back pain, excess weight, anxiety, panic attacks. Results usually followed quickly — the body responded, pain subsided, tension eased. But for some patients, the problem returned — wherever psychosomatics lurked behind the physical pain.

I remember a woman with chronic migraines. We released all the clamps in her neck, restored the mobility of her vertebrae. She left my office beaming, but three weeks later she returned with the same pain. “My husband started drinking again,” she whispered.

That’s when it hit me. Her body wasn’t locked up because of scoliosis or a bad pillow. It was locked up because it lived in a state of perpetual threat anticipation. The migraine wasn’t a broken neck — it was an alarm signal that rang round the clock. With my hands, I could release the muscle spasm. But I couldn’t remove the source of the stress. She didn’t just need her muscles relaxed — she needed her nervous system taught a new way of operating.

I trained as a psychologist. But I saw the other extreme: people spent years understanding everything intellectually, discussing childhood traumas, while their bodies kept living in disaster mode. Knowledge didn’t switch off the clamp. Besides, many men came to me who were ashamed to admit fear but were ready to treat a “bad back.”

And people with excess weight spent years dieting without success. They didn’t grasp the bigger picture. Caloric balance matters, yes. But the deep root of breakdowns is often a dysregulation of the nervous system. When cortisol is chronically elevated, the body more actively stores fat and craves fast carbohydrates. It’s as if it refuses to give up resources until the nervous system exits threat mode and finds balance. Until that baseline is leveled, diets yield only temporary effects.

That’s how the Digital Somatic Method was born.

I understood one simple thing. Our bodies remember what our heads keep silent. Sensation is the oldest language on Earth. Older than words, older than names, older than the stories we tell ourselves. It is the language through which the body speaks directly to the brain, bypassing the censorship of thought.

Words can deceive. We say “I’m calm” while the heart pounds. We say “everything’s fine” while the stomach is tied in a knot. But sensations do not lie.

And music is not just beautiful notes. It’s rhythm. And rhythm is a language the nervous system understands from birth. In the womb, we heard the beating of the heart. That was our first rhythm, our first anchor of safety.

When I play neuro-music, I’m not trying to explain anything to the body. I’m not lecturing the nervous system. I’m simply giving it back what it has always known: a steady, calm rhythm. And the ancient brain living inside each of us hears: “It’s safe here. You can exhale. You can let go.”

That’s how I combined my medical experience, somatic psychology, and modern tools. Not to replace the hands, but to make them stronger. I created three levels of support:

The first is somatic. My hands and therapeutic movements. This is the foundation — lifting the siege, creating physical safety, restoring mobility and trust to the body.

The second is rhythmic. Functional neuro-music. A direct conversation with the nervous system in its native tongue — the language of rhythm and vibration.

The third is digital. An AI assistant that stays with you 24/7. It doesn’t replace me. It consolidates the new state, reminding the body: “You are safe. You can breathe.”

I don’t wage war on the body. I come to it like a house where the lights haven’t been switched on in ages. I create safety. I restore its rhythm. And then it remembers what freedom is.

Healing doesn’t end with the spine.

The body needs new nourishment to replace the old pain: the rhythm of music — as the language of the nervous system, mindful eating — as an act of self-care, movement and breath — as freedom that becomes a natural state.

Technology meets the soul. The soul leads the movement. And the body follows — without fear, without resistance, with trust. Because it feels: it’s safe here. There is rhythm here. There is life here.

This has grown into a project where your smartphone becomes a remote control for your body. One tap — and you shift your state. Because I have two things: knowledge of how the nervous system works, and sound that gives it what it asks for. Not what I want to give it, but what it asks for. Because the body is more honest than words. And sound is its native language.

Everything that used to require long sessions and lengthy explanations can now be switched with a tap on your smartphone. Not because I’m simplifying depth. But because technology has become a bridge — fast, reliable, always at hand.

Because health is not the absence of illness. It’s a state in which the body finally believes that tomorrow is safe. And goes where the heart calls.

Why “Digital”? The Trap of the Digital Age

We are the first generation living in a total biological split between our evolutionary nature and digital reality. Our brains operate in “fight or flight” mode, yet there’s no one to flee from.

Consider the paradox. Physically, we are in unprecedented comfort. We don’t need to escape predators, freeze in caves, or starve. There are fewer direct threats than ever. Yet stress, anxiety, and burnout rates are shattering records. Why?

Because stress used to be rhythmic: a short burst of activity — and then a long recovery. Today we are locked in a digital trap. The threat has ceased to be physical — it has become informational. Ten hours of screen time, blue light from monitors, an endless stream of news keep the deep centers of our brain in a state of heightened alertness. The nervous system is continuously pressing the Gas Pedal. We sit in safe offices, but biologically our organism often behaves as if it’s at war.

Our brain is not a single-frequency radio. It’s an incredibly complex orchestra, where delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma rhythms play simultaneously. Under stress, the balance shifts toward the beta rhythm. In a healthy state, rhythms switch flexibly. Modern humans spend an abnormally high number of hours per day in beta mode — something unprecedented in human history. We know only part of this wondrous score. Yet already today, we can use sound and somatic practices to gently help the brain restore its harmony.

Even if you limit your social media scrolling, you’re still held captive by notifications, wristwatch vibrations, work chats, monitor glow. You can’t just disconnect from this world. But we can learn to manage our state — right here, without leaving digital reality.

Our biology hasn’t had time to adapt. Continuous noise and blue light from screens keep the brain in a state of round-the-clock combat readiness. The world won’t slow down — tomorrow, screens will be even closer. The digital environment can no longer be switched off.

That’s precisely why new tools for nervous system regulation are no longer a luxury. The ability to switch your state has become a basic survival skill. As essential as the smartphone in your pocket.

This persistent beta-dominance breaks three major systems:

Sleep. The dominant high-frequency rhythm prevents the brain from entering deep delta phase. You wake up wrecked even after 8 hours of sleep.

Weight. A nervous system stuck in stress forces the adrenal glands to pump out cortisol continuously. The body switches to conservation mode, slows fat breakdown, and locks down fat depots. Until this baseline is leveled, diets only give temporary results.

Mood and mental clarity. Chronic background stress creates “brain fog,” lowers concentration, and amplifies anxiety. Today, scientists increasingly speak of the link between such a cascade and the worsening of ADHD symptoms and emotional dysregulation.

When we face apathy or loss of concentration, medicine relies on psychotherapy and medication. But growing evidence shows: without normalizing the background state of the nervous system, even proper treatment often yields incomplete results. The aim of this method is to create fertile ground: to bring the organism out of chronic stress, restore vagal tone, and bring back the flexibility of brain rhythms. A healthy brain is a smooth flow from delta to alpha and beta, not a jammed frequency on one exhausting note.

That is where my lab is born — to give you the precise sound your nervous system wants to hear.

About the SOMATIC SOUND LAB

This goes far beyond ordinary music. Each track is a highly precise neuroacoustic protocol. At the core of their complex architecture lies dual-channel frequency synchronization, isochronic tones, and psychoacoustic modulation.

How does it work? We deliver pure tones with a microscopic frequency difference independently to your left and right ears. Your brainstem integrates these signals, generating a new, internal frequency that does not physically exist in your headphones.

Instantly, billions of neurons synchronize with this new rhythm. This neurophysiological effect, known as brainwave entrainment, gently shifts your nervous system into a state of deep recovery, completely bypassing mental resistance, fatigue, or skepticism.

Stress-management technologies, refined over decades in aerospace medicine, are now at your disposal. This is your somatic interface — a sonic bridge that safely guides your nervous system out of anxiety and into a state of profound renewal, deep trance, or hyper-productivity.

Important Note on Audio Protocols

These functional tracks are powerful self-regulation technologies, not medical treatments. By using these protocols, you assume personal responsibility for your state and well-being.

Do not use: While driving or operating heavy machinery.
Contraindications: Epilepsy, a history of seizures, or pregnancy. If you have any neurological disorders or unstable psychological conditions, prior consultation with a healthcare specialist is strictly required.
